Temple Festivals: Performing Across Cultures

Some of our most meaningful performances happen not on stages but in temple courtyards.
We regularly perform at Chinese temple festivals in Sentul and Ampang, where lion dance returns to its roots: honouring deities, blessing devotees, and celebrating with the community late into the night.
And in one of our favourite bookings, we performed at an Indian temple festival in Setapak. The drums of the lion dance met the urumi and nadaswaram of the temple, and the crowd embraced both. Malaysia at its best.
The lion does not ask who is watching. It brings luck, protection, and joy to everyone gathered. That is why temple committees of all backgrounds invite us back year after year.
Organising a temple or community festival? We would be honoured to perform.
