Recruitment Open: Carry the Tradition With Us (招生)

TianDi Dragon & Lion Dance Team is open for recruitment (招生).

Since our founding on 1 September 2019, we have grown from a small group of enthusiasts into a competition team that performs across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and beyond. And every single member, from our newest recruit to our head trainer, started the same way: with zero experience and a willingness to learn.

What we look for:

• Commitment and discipline. Skills can be taught. Showing up cannot.
• Basic fitness, or the willingness to build it. Lion dance will get you strong.
• A genuine interest in the culture and the craft.

What you get:

• Structured training from stances to stage, guided by experienced trainers
• A place in a tight-knit team that competes, performs, and travels together
• The chance to keep a centuries-old tradition alive in Malaysia

Training is held weekly at our Cheras grounds (Jalan Pudu Ulu, Taman Pertama). All ages and backgrounds welcome.
