TianDi at the 3rd Lotus Garden Cup National Lion Drumming Competition

On 13 June 2026, TianDi Dragon & Lion Dance Team competed in the 3rd Lotus Garden Cup National Southern Lion Freestyle Drumming Competition (第三届莲花苑杯全国南狮花式擂鼓大赛) held at KSL Esplanade Mall in Klang.

The drum is the heartbeat of every lion dance. In freestyle drumming competitions, teams are judged on rhythm, precision, creativity, and the sheer energy they can drive through the hall. Months of evening practice sessions came down to a few minutes on stage.

We are proud of every drummer and cymbal player who represented the team. Each competition sharpens our craft, and everything we learn on the competition stage flows straight back into the performances we bring to our clients' celebrations.
